Support Your Fellow Small Businesses By Refusing To Do This…
The pandemic inspired me and a lot of other people to start a new business. Inspired is not exactly the right word (for me anyway) as really it was born of a mixture of boredom, a smaller bank account, and extreme isolation. Although I am already about 2 years in with my data consulting company, I have also decided to start an Etsy Shop to sell my crochet creations. Do you see what I did there? I asked you to check it out. THIS is a really great way to get people to visit your shop or check out your business. It is what every new/small business needs, marketing! Here we are, we exist, and this is what we have for you! Marketing for small businesses means trying to get your name out there and usually on a zero-dollar budget. I am not going to pay a marketer for my crochet shop, the numbers would not make sense to do that at this point in my little shop’s journey. I will pay for something else but we will get to that in a moment.
