I am Self-Employed and Completely Understand Why You Probably Don’t Care About Using Data, But You Need to Use it Anyway
Being Self-Employed is a dream and nightmare for many, myself included. The luxury of not having to commute, interact with other human beings, and being your own boss, definitely appeals. It’s a dream come true, right? Until you get down to actually doing it for more than three months, after that you are drifting into nightmare territory.
After that three month mark, the shiny awesome has worn off and you realize you are basically a super busy hermit who lives in comfy pants. You haven’t been “meeting ready” in appearance for so long that you might be questioning if you remember how to put yourself together in a respectable manner.
Okay, this is my experience, but the fact is, being self-employed is often less about meeting people and more about putting in sweat equity to address the many different areas of your business to make it.
